GREYLING BAY

This is an interesting collaborative project. A fictional seaside/fishing village has been dreamed up and writers are invited to populate it with invented characters, all interacting, and stories unfolding, and weaving in and out of each other. And every contribution has to be under 500 words.

A piece of mine has gone up on site: 'Alice has a Framed Photograph By Her Bed'. Take a look.

Douglas, I'm so pleased you decided to submit to Greyling Bay. Your work is wonderful, and your comments on the other pieces are great. At the risk of sounding creepy, I'm glad to have had the opportunity of working with you on this one (OK, I added ONE PARAGRAPH BREAK to one of your pieces... that's working, right?).

I hope to hear much more from you.

Thank you, Jane. I am just so glad that you have liked what I have subbed. Be sure that there's more coming your way soon... I love Greyling Bay... and there are some great characters evolving and hopefully a greater interaction between the characters will soon happen.

And thanks for 'working' with me. That's what a collaboratuive thing can and should be.

Best
