FISHY NEWS
The very long 'shortlist' is out for The Fish Short Story Competition. And several Workhouse members feature, which is great. And I am there too with a story called 'NOTHIN NEATH THE WANTIN'. I am pleased to have got this far with something I originally wanted to enter into Fish's now cancelled 'Knife Award'.
Other 'fishy' news: after more than a 7 month wait Grasslimb Journal have accepted a short flash fiction piece of mine called 'A FISH SWIMMING INSIDE OF ME'. It will appear in their July edition. A pretty cheque for $20 arrived this week. Can't wait to see it in print.
